We employ passionate people of various levels of qualification across our business. We have Level 5, Level 3 and Level 2 practitioners as well as apprentices starting out in their childcare journey.
All staff are welcomed to Little Elms via our Head Office induction and ongoing training from our training academy. The support in role does not stop there, we have a wealth of knowledge within each setting and staff are provided with Supervisions to help them be the very best they can.

Holiday
Having down time allows us to re-set and relax. That why we offer up to 33 days holiday per year. To top it off for every year you work you will earn 1 extra days holiday for the first 5 years. That’s a whopping 38 days holiday! But we don’t stop there, when you achieve 10 years service we will also give you 1 weeks extra paid holiday to take.

Our kitchen team are happy to provide you with a nutritious lunch for you to enjoy in the room with the children or if you prefer you can take it with you to enjoy on your break.
Discretionary Bonus
Every 3 months our wonderful staff has the opportunity to earn a 4% bonus based on their earnings. The criteria is simple, measurable and most of all, achievable each month!
The 4 day working week
We understand the importance of a work life balance and that one size does not fit all. Full time staff can work their hours over 4 days, alternatively it can be worked over the classic 5 working days. You decide!
Part Time | Lunch Cover
Not everyone can work full time, that's fine. We want great people in our business and we will happily consider applicants looking for fewer hours or certain days.
Special Leave
From time to time life throws us a curve ball, we offer discretionary leave for individuals in a time of need, be that personal health, family or something else.
Menopause
This can be a challenging time that affects both men and women, we have support at the ready; just speak with your nursery leader.
Bank Staff
Can’t commit to steady hours and days, no problem. Why not consider becoming a member of our Bank staff. Our Bank staff let us know their availability for the next week or two ahead and we offer shifts to cover annual leave, staff training.
Mental Health First Aiders
We have trained up a group of people across Little Elms who have a passion for mental first aid – when you join you will see their pictures and contact details in every nursery. They are on hand to help you if you ever need them.
Staff Events
Every year we strive to put on a company bash, where you can get dressed up and enjoy an event paid for by us. Sometimes at Christmas, sometimes a Summer BBQ, sometimes both. Our parties create great memories, friendships and experiences.
Apprenticeships Paid for by us
We firmly believe in supporting people in their careers and passion. We also believe that apprentices are the future and happily support staffs at all levels reach their next goal.
Did You Say Tea or Coffee?
Having a break during your day is critical, and a hot cuppa can make it all the better. All our staff rooms have free tea, coffee, sugar and milk for you to enjoy while you rest, sometimes there is also a pack of biscuits!
Training Academy
Our training academy will hep you to be the best you can at the role you do, it will develop the skills you have and teach you the ones you want. For every stage of your time at Little Elms we have new and exciting courses for you to attend.
Childcare Discount
Being a working parent is tough, that’s why we offer staff a 30% discount on their Nursery fees, this rises if you become a member of the management team.
