We are pleased to accept government funding schemes, including 9 month, 2 year and 3 year funding.
What is funding?
The UK government offers a range of schemes to help with childcare costs. These include 15 or 30 hours working parent funded childcare for eligible families with children aged 9 months – 3 years, Together for Two funding, Universal childcare for 3 and 4 years olds and Tax-Free Childcare schemes.
You may also be eligible for additional help through Universal Credit or Working Tax Credit.

Working family funding
9 months - 3years
From Autumn 2025, working parent funding for 9 month -2year olds and 2 to 3 years old have been increased from 15hours to 30 hours.
Working parents who meet the eligibility criteria will be able to access 30 hours term time funding. At Little Elms, this funding will be stretched over 52 weeks, 21.92 hours per week.
Together for 2 funding
2 - 3 years
2 year old funding is also available for families receiving some additional forms of government support, for example universal credit or Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP).
For this funding, 15 hours childcare is available for 38 weeks a year (Little Elms stretch this funding over 52 weeks which is 10.96 hours per week).

Funding for 3 - 4years olds
15hrs of funding is available for all children from the term after the child turns 3 years old.
Eligible working parents and carers of children aged 3-4 can get an additional 15 hours of childcare support, bringing the total support they can get up to 30 hours a week.
Little Elms stretch this funding over 52 weeks.
Additional Service Charge (ASC)
The Early Years Entitlement funding is intended to deliver free, high quality, flexible childcare. It is not intended to pay for the costs of meals, drinks, snacks, other consumables or additional activities.
Little Elms additional service charge contributes towards the cost of items not covered by the funding.

For families entitled to 30 hours funding the weekly cost is £32.88
For families entitled to 15 hours funding the weekly cost is £16.44
The ASC does not apply to families accessing Together for 2, EYPP or children eligible for a fully funded placement. The ASC is optional, if you would like to discuss the charge, please contact your nursery manager.
